14 Jul 2015 AFI Gains Rospa Gold Award
Rutland is pleased to announce that AFI has recently obtained a RoSPA Gold award, which recognises the group’s ongoing commitment to health and safety within the workplace. This prestigious, industry recognised, award follows AFI’s success in gaining an international Safety Award with Merit from the British Safety Council earlier this year.
The RoSPA awards recognise commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work. Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Nigel Stevens, AFI Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager, said: “We are delighted to have gained Gold in these prestigious awards. It’s a great achievement and highlights our continuing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health & safety at all levels of the company.”
Oliver Jones, Partner of Rutland Partners, said: “The health and safety of the workforce within the AFI Group is incredibly important and to gain recognition for their overall commitment to their health and safety processes form RoSPA is a huge accomplishment. Congratulations to the AFI team.”
