21 Apr 2015 AFI’s Smartzone Wins Another Top Industry Award
AFI has won another top industry award for its SmartZone safety and security device. SmartZone controls and monitors the use of powered access equipment and was judged ‘Product of the Year’ at the recent Hire Association of Europe Excellence Awards.
SmartZone brings far reaching improvements to safety because it ensures that machines cannot be operated by anyone who has not been properly trained and authorised to use them.
AFI Director, Nick Selley, said: “Well done to everyone involved in the development of SmartZone. It was an amazing evening at the HAE awards and it really does show how far AFI has come.”
The development of SmartZone was also recognised earlier in the year when AFI won the Equipment Supplier of the Year Award in the Construction News Specialists Awards.
