working closely with them to ensure a successful outcome

Rutland owns and manages the assets it invests in, taking the time to engage and get to know the management team well before and throughout the lifecycle of the investment.

Over time Rutland has grown and developed a team of people who are entirely focussed on investing capital and effectively managing those investments, dealing with the issues that come with that challenge.

This is a very different model from conventional private equity due to the fact that we are much more the friends of management; we get to know them better, we support their plans, and plug the gaps where necessary.

This is only achievable if you are very close to the businesses day to day, which is very much our model.
