Rutland is delighted to announce that Omar has been named as one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s, 1,000 Companies to Inspire Europe 2017 in addition to their inclusion again in the London Stock Exchange Group’s, 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain earlier this year.
This landmark publication, produced by the London Stock Exchange Group, lists the 1,000 most dynamic and fastest-growing SMEs in Europe, of which only 170 British businesses have received this honour.
To be included in the list, companies need to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their country peers. As well as identifying 1,000 high performing companies, the annual report also examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs; looking at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the British and European economies.
As a market leading, solutions provider, designer and manufacturer to the residential park home and lodge park marketplace, the team at Omar has worked tirelessly over recent years to more than treble their sales, building its brand portfolio to encompass five distinct and respected brands: Omar Park & Leisure Homes, Wessex Unique Lodges & Park Homes, Omar Refurbishment Services, Omar Park Development Services (OPDS) and Boutique Lodges, Holidays by Omar.
The business currently employs 410 staff, an impressive increase of 272 full time jobs since May 2011. Alongside this, a successful apprenticeship programme has been developed, which is enabling a growing number of young people to enter the industry and learn a trade.
