28 Nov 2019 OPDS Parks recognised in the 2019 Hoseasons Diamond Awards
Two OPDS Park Developments, Lode Hall Country Park and New Oaks Farm Lodges, were recognised in the Small Park Category for their region in this year’s Diamond Awards at the recent annual Hoseasons Owners Conference.
No stranger to success, Lode Hall Country Park, were winners, for the second time, in the Lodge Escapes, Lodges and Parks in Britain for East of England. Whilst New Oaks Farm Lodges were also recognised and were finalists in Lodge Escapes, Lodges and Parks in Britain for Devon and Somerset.
OPDS was contracted by the owners of both Lode Hall Country Park and New Oaks Farm Lodges to work alongside them and transform their sites into luxury holiday retreats. OPDS gave advice on planning, park infrastructure, lodge specification, marketing and overall guest experience, delivering their visions through in-depth industry knowledge.
Lode Hall Country Park is set in beautiful countryside in the heart of the fens, offering luxury holiday accommodation in a secluded rural location. Their Omar luxury lodges provide adult only guests with luxury accommodation to enjoy the surroundings and local area. All the lodges have private Jacuzzi hot tubs and there are even luxury, single-bedroom lodges designed especially for couples.
New Oaks Farm Lodges is located on the opposite side of the country on a working farm in the midst of the Somerset countryside and is the ideal touring base to explore this beautiful corner of the country. Their Omar luxury lodges provide the perfect accommodation for up to four people, with French doors that lead out onto a private patio area where guests will find a hot tub and an outside seating area with wonderful views.
Richard Sigsworth, Director for OPDS commented: “Both Lode Hall Country Park and New Oaks Farm Lodges are fantastic example of diversification. I’m very proud to have been involved in both projects from the beginning; it just goes to show what hard work can achieve. This recognition is very well deserved.”
