18 Feb 2015 Pizza Hut Restaurants Unveils a New Look
Pizza Hut Restaurants’ flagship on the Strand in London reopened on Wednesday 11th February following a £500,000 refurbishment featuring a cocktail bar and open plan kitchen, allowing clientele to enjoy the theatre of pizza making.
With oak flooring throughout, customers at the new look restaurant will dine seated on red leather banquettes. A new menu has been introduced that includes Kentucky-style barbeque ribs, French fries and onion rings and experienced bartenders are on hand to expertly mix an extensive range of cocktails in one of the two new bar areas.

The refurbishment of the Strand restaurant precedes similar refurbishments for Pizza Hut Restaurants’ Marble Arch, Piccadilly and Queensway restaurants and follows a number of successful regional refurbishments during the last twelve months including the Oracle Centre in Reading where the first Pizza Hut Restaurants cocktail bar was launched.
Jens Hofma, CEO for Pizza Hut Restaurants UK, comments:
“This first refurbishment in the UK’s capital is a huge milestone for the chain following a number of restaurant refurbishments outside London where trials of the new restaurant format and updated menu have been well received and have already shown a substantial improvement in sales.”
