Pizza Hut Restaurants UK (Pizza Hut) won the coveted Pizza Restaurant Chain Award at this year’s PAPA Awards, held at the Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park, London. Pizza Hut led the field beating every other pizza restaurant chain, as all UK chains were considered in the judging process.
The judging criteria for the Pizza Restaurant Chain Award focussed on what the judges thought to be the Restaurant Chain that had done the most in the last year to develop their business and which sets a standard for others to follow.
During the past twelve months Pizza Hut has invested heavily in their restaurants and menus to enhance the customer experience as part of a nationwide reimaging program to drive a reappraisal of the brand across the UK. The judges visited the newly refurbished Pizza Hut restaurants to find a completed transformed business with changes that all support each other and the new food concepts that have been introduced.
In addition to spotlighting the very best in the UK’s pizza, pasta and Italian food business the award ceremony also marked its 25th Anniversary as it celebrated the continuing success and innovation of the industry’s leading players.
