13 Dec 2010 Promotions at Rutland
Rutland Partners, the specialist turnaround and restructuring investor, is pleased to announce the promotion of two members of the team; David Wardrop to Investment Director and Tristan Craddock to Investment Manager, effective immediately.
David joined Rutland in 2008 from Close Brothers Corporate Finance and has both new investment and portfolio experience. He was actively involved in Rutland’s acquisition of Brandon Hire, the tool and equipment hire business, which completed in September this year and is also on the board of Pulse Home Products, a branded consumer goods business, currently a portfolio investment.
Tristan also joined Rutland in 2008 from Ernst & Young and was involved in Rutland’s acquisition of CeDo in 2009, a manufacturer of household disposable products, as well as sourcing new investment opportunities.
In their new roles, both David and Tristan will continue sourcing and executing deals in line with Rutland’s focus of investing in underperforming UK companies to create stability, strategic change and improved performance.
These promotions further develop the Rutland team which has included the recent recruitment of Rahul Satsangi earlier this year from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Commenting on the promotions, Michael Langdon, Chairman of Rutland Partners, said:
“ We are delighted for both David and Tristan; they have played an integral role working on our two latest investments and in addition make an important contribution to deal origination. We wish them well for the future. ”
