Rutland Announces YoungMinds As 2018/19 Charity Partner

Rutland Partners LLP is delighted to announce YoungMinds as its new 2018-2019 charity partner. The Partnership will see funds raised and donated by Rutland Partners used to support children and young people who suffer with mental health problems.

In celebration of the partnership, a launch event at Rutland Partners’ London office was held to provide employees with the opportunity to find out more about YoungMinds and the work they do, as well as meet some of the young people who have been supported by YoungMinds in the past and have now become activists for the charity.

“All of us at Rutland Partners are proud to be YoungMinds’ corporate partner. The work they are doing to support children and young people suffering from mental health problems is truely inspirational,” said Andy Powell, Managing Partner at Rutland Partners.

Andy added: “Their amazing work not only helps and supports the young but also their parents as well with their ‘Parent Helpline’; a friendly and confidential service for parents looking for advice and guidance in finding the right help for their children. For many parents, who have questions about their child’s behaviour, emotional wellbeing or mental health condition, this is a lifetine.”

Fundraising activities are already underway at Rutland Partners with a team taking on the Thames Bridges Challenge and a five-a-side football tournament planned for later in the year.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Rutland this year. Rutland’s support will allow us to continue to help children and young people affected by mental health problems and we very much look forward to sharing the achievements of this partnership in the year ahead.” said Sam Barry, Corporate Fundraising Officer, Young Minds.
