Rutland Partners is pleased to announce that it was named ‘Turnaround Financier 2006’ at the Society of Turnaround Professionals Annual Awards Dinner 2006 held on Monday, 4th December for its investment and subsequent turnaround of Carron Energy Limited, a coal-fired power station near Newport, South Wales.
Rutland Partners was recognised for the quality of its work in evaluating and investing in a business with significant issues and then delivering a complete financial, operational and commercial restructuring within a short space of time.
The Society of Turnaround Professionals (now called The Institute for Turnaround) was established in 2000 as a UK Professional Body to recognise the highest quality individuals and institutions implementing, advising and funding successful turnaround.
