Rutland is proud and delighted to have won a further two awards for Turnaround of the Decade for Attends Healthcare at the TRI Awards and for Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year for Omar Group at Insiders Central & East Dealmakers Awards.
Turnaround of the Decade
To mark the 10th anniversary of the TRI Awards programme the organisers took the decision to award those widely recognised for their role in ten of the most prominent, outstanding turnaround case studies of the past decade.
Following an extensive period of engagement with the turnaround and corporate restructuring profession to establish the cases that were commonly held as shining examples of ingenuity, innovation, leadership and outcomes where businesses prevailed and jobs were saved, Rutland was recognised for its work on Attends Healthcare, which was acknowledged as one of ten outstanding case studies in the last 10 years.
This engagement involved consultation with a specially created steering group on corporate restructuring and turnaround, which informed the content for the TRI conference: Special Situations and Turnaround, held on the same day of the awards in London.
Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year
The Insiders Central & East Dealmakers Awards celebrates the achievements of the corporate finance community in the region, recognising excellence in business funding, sales and acquisitions and also the range of deals that have been achieved over the last year.
Rutland won the award for Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year for their work on the acquisition of Omar Group, a luxury lodge and home manufacturer based in Brandon, Suffolk. The funds raised by Rutland have been used on capex investment which will directly lead to new job creation in the region. The judges felt this was the outstanding deal within the category as it has secured the continued longevity of a key, high-profile regional business.
