Rutland is delighted to announce that Kajen Mohanadas has been promoted to Investment Director.
Kajen joined Rutland in 2008 and has been actively involved in the acquisitions of Brandon Hire and AFI Uplift and is on the board of AFI. He joined Rutland from CIBC World Markets where he worked on a variety of buy-side and sell-side mandates for private equity clients. Prior to CIBC, Kajen qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young, gaining broad transactional experience, whilst working primarily within the Mergers & Acquisitions team.
Commenting on Kajen’s promotion, managing partner, Nick Morrill, said: “Kajen has become a key member of the Rutland team, significantly contributing to sourcing, evaluating and executing investment transactions and we are pleased to recognise his hard work with this promotion.”
The news concludes a good year for Rutland, which has seen the successful sale of Millbrook for a return of over 6x and the acquisition of Leykam Let’s Print following its investment in the Walstead Group.
Rutland continues to focus on special situations and operational change with the primary objective to improve performance through controllable or strategic actions.
