22 Jan 2018 Two Promoted at Rutland
Rutland is delighted to announce two promotions within its Deal Team. Tristan Craddock has been promoted from Investment Director to Partner and Sarah Hollyhead has been promoted to Investment Manager.
Tristan joined Rutland in 2008 and was actively involved in a range of acquisitions including Pizza Hut Restaurants UK and, more recently Aston Barclay, on both of which he is a Board member. He joined Rutland from Ernst & Young where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then joined their Transaction Advisory Services team where he worked both pre and post deal with a number of private equity and corporate clients specialising in the operational analysis and performance improvement aspects of transactions.
Sarah joined Rutland in 2016 and has been involved in the acquisitions of Armitage and Omar. She joined Rutland after seven years with KPMG, having joined the company straight from University in 2009. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2012, Sarah spent the majority of her time at KPMG within their Restructuring team where she helped to deliver a number of business reviews, distressed transactions and operational improvement projects for clients across multiple sectors.
Commenting on the two promotions, Nick Morrill, Managing Partner, said: “It has been an extremely busy twelve-month period for Rutland and both Tristan and Sarah have been instrumental in the success we have had this last year. In recognition of their significant contributions to sourcing, evaluating and executing investment transactions and, in particular, Tristan’s all-round contribution and development in both investing and portfolio management, we are delighted to announce their promotions to Partner and Investment Manager respectively.”
Both these appointments will further consolidate and strengthen the Rutland team going forward and cap an award-winning year for Rutland, which has seen further growth in their portfolio with three new investments and the successful sale of Brandon Hire.
Rutland continues to focus on special situations and operational change with the primary objective to improve performance through controllable or strategic actions.
