Rutland Partners is delighted to announce that Omar Group has acquired UK Sundecks.
In recent years Omar Group has increasingly seen itself as a solutions provider to the park home and luxury lodge marketplace as more customers seek turnkey solutions. With an already strong brand portfolio which includes Omar Park & Leisure Homes, Wessex Unique Lodges & Park Homes, Omar Park Development Services, Omar Refurbishment Services and Boutique Lodges, the acquisition of UK Sundecks enables the group to provide an even more comprehensive offering, which now also includes PVCu decking, skirting and steps.
Over the past eight years UK Sundecks has earnt a reputation as the UK’s leading supplier of high quality PVCu decking and the business has gone from strength to strength under the leadership of father and son management team Dave and Jake Randle. Investment in the business will allow UK Sundecks to step-up to the next level, taking on decking contracts for large-scale green-field lodge sites.
Jake Randle will continue to lead the business as managing director and said: “The investment and backing from Omar Group will give us the opportunity to grow the business much faster; we already have some great new decking contracts agreed for 2019. I look forward to working closely with Dean Westmoreland and Graeme Craig at Omar Group in leading an autonomous business as part of a group of companies.”
