HCC Increases Output as Second Facility Comes Online

HCC is delighted to announce that its second production facility went into commercial production in October, ahead of the original investment plan. This second facility has a production capacity of 72,000 cph (cans per hour) increasing overall capacity from 100 million to over 400 million cans per year.

The second facility also substantially increases manufacturing flexibility, enabling the optimisation of production between the two facilities, offering their customers a highly flexible service across a wide range of different products and production run lengths.

The investment also helps the business address the exciting market opportunity ahead driven by the accelerating transition away from single use plastics, brand proliferation and increasing consumer preferences for brand choice, provenance and authenticity.

Julian Aitken, CEO of HCC, said: “The opening of HCC’s second facility, and the increase in capacity it facilities, caps a successful year and is transformational for the business. I, along with the rest of the team at HCC, am looking forward to continuing to work with Rutland in HCC’s next phase of growth.”
