11 Jan 2023 Will Southgate Promoted to Investment Director
Rutland is pleased to announce the promotion of Will Southgate from Investment Manager to Investment Director.
Will joined Rutland in 2018 from PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before spending 5 years in their Corporate Finance team, advising on a range of buy-side and sell-side transactions primarily in the business services sector. During his time with Rutland, he has been actively involved in the acquisitions of Total Rail Solutions and WN VTech, and their subsequent investment management. He has also been integrally involved in sourcing and evaluating potential investment transactions.
Commenting on Will’s promotion, Nick Morrill, Managing Partner, said: “We are delighted to promote Will to Investment Director, a promotion he thoroughly deserves for the outstanding progress he has made and his contribution since he joined Rutland. His significant growth in his role of sourcing, evaluating and executing investment transactions has been recognised and we very much look forward to him further successfully developing his responsibilities with Rutland going forward.”
This promotion will further consolidate and strengthen the Rutland team, which continues to focus on special situations and operational change with the primary objective of improving performance through controllable or strategic actions.
